The Rifugio Stella Alpinas was my first Rifugio experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The hosts were fluent in German and English so communication was no problem. The food is excellent and very filling. I recommend trying out the local spirit Génépy after the meal.

In winter you'll have to walk a while to reach it but it's well worth it!
What a hidden jewel this is. Through narrow winding roads found this hidden gem. Local food with amazing taste served in a most appealing art creation! This with a hospitality and kindness that is rare to find. And too top it of we got to admire the stunning view with wild deer in the far distance. When in the near do not miss the opportunity to experience this.
Fantastic cosy restaurant with a log fire and a very welcoming owner. The pizzocheri were by far the best ones we have ever tasted! Can't recommend enough.
